Pine

Pine is a softwood which means its easy to light but will burn hot and quickly. Most cost effective option.

Macrocarpa & Tōtara Mix

Macrocarpa & Northland Tōtara are a medium wood so will burn slower and contain more energy and lasting heat. Macrocarpa can be a bit sparky so not recommended for open fires.

Hotmix contains both Hard, medium and softwood, perfect to get your fire started and keep it roaring. This is the most popular wood option.

Pine Offcuts

Pine is a softwood which means its easy to light but will burn hot and quickly. These off cuts are from untreated pallets, in random lengths and thicknesses.

Gum

Mānuka/Kānuka (Tea Tree)

Gum firewood is a dense hardwood so it will burn hot and slowly. It takes a little more effort to light compared to soft wood but it produces a lovely hot bed of coals that will burn throughout the night. A great bang for your buck firewood option.

Kānuka/Mānuka is a native hardwood timber that produces an incredible amount of heat. It burns considerably longer than other hardwoods, meaning you use way less firewood! Great in all fireplaces and for the use of cooking such as smoking, pizza ovens, hāngīs and slow cooking.

Kānuka/Mānuka and Pōhutukawa are a native hardwood timber that produces an incredible amount of heat. It burns considerably longer than other hardwoods, meaning you use way less firewood! Great in all fireplaces and for the use of cooking such as smoking, pizza ovens, hāngīs and slow cooking. Comes in 40L bags, the wood it split slightly smaller to burn easier and give more consistent heat.
